About Us
Susi Drury Sivkov, Center Director
Growing up, Susi lived in several towns across the United States. Through the many changes that she would encounter from place to place, there was one constant, her passion for the performing arts. She dedicated her high school years to her singing, dancing and acting talents, and then took her performing arts scholarships with her to Kentucky Christian University. While Susi's interest in the arts continued to drive her, she could not ignore her roots. Her father a minister and her mother a nurse, she had a natural desire to serve people. She earned a degree in Elementary Education and taught in Florida for several years.
It was in Lexington, Kentucky where Susi made a name for herself as a choreographer, vocal coach, runway instructor and fashion consultant. She worked as the assistant director of international competitions at Images Model and Talent Agency which took her to LA and New York where her team claimed many awards. Many of her students went on to find success in the entertainment and fashion industry.
Being behind the scenes was rewarding for Susi, but she still had a thirst for the stage. While in Lexington and with the help of Images, she became the official spokesmodel for Link-Belt International, played leading roles in several independent films, including The Calling and Closure, and was a dancer for the Lexington Legends baseball team. In 2003 she received the Images Model of the Year Award. She would take that with her to find continued success in Los Angeles.
Vocals and back-up dancing for Rockafella Production artists, a guest appearance on a popular sitcom, a variety of television commercials and continued spokesmodel work list just a few of the opportunities Susi found in Hollywood. But she would have never guessed that her most rewarding experiences were still to come... marrying Val, starting a family, and bringing Metropolished to the Star City!
Val Sivkov, Agency Director
Val was born and raised in Europe. Throughout his early teens he took great interest in American culture and taught himself English in anticipation that he would someday go to college in the States. His studies paid off, as an academic scholarship took him to Lyons College in Batesville, Arkansas where he began his college career. Two years later, he transferred to UCLA where he studied Film and Business.
Val's continued interest in the entertainment and fashion industry would take him to Paris, Milan and New York City, where he was involved in fashion photography and runway shows.
Eventually the center of ‘all that is entertainment' called him back, and Val settled in Hollywood for the next 8 years. His experience, dedication and proven talent landed him the opportunity to work as a manager in film production and post production for both 20th Century Fox and Paramount Picture.
Susi and Val are now experiencing their greatest production and the combined realization of all their lifelong dreams... a talent school and life enhancement center for a family oriented community. Metropolished is giving them the opportunity to share their experiences, their talents, and their encouragement with others in a ‘come as you are' environment! They look forward to meeting YOU!
